The Filipino Catholic Group is open to all Filipino Catholics who wish to serve the parish by joining in different ministries. The objective of this group is to promote Christian Fellowship and at the same time contribute to the Spiritual Growth that would further strengthen the members’ faith and develop the inter-personal relationships among its members. We have our regular general meeting every Fourth Sunday of the month from 1:30 to 2:30 pm to discuss matters regarding church and group activities, both internal and external.
The St. Anne's Filipino Community will host the traditional Living Rosary this May. We are inviting all parishioners to join us on May 31, 2015. We will assemble in the church at 1:30 PM and the procession will start at 2:00 PM, followed by the Rosary, Flower Offering, and Crowning of our Blessed Mother Mary. We would be grateful if you can join us on this day wherein we will be making prayer petitions for Peace and Unity for the whole world.
The St. Anne's Filipino Community will host a two-part workshop on financial literacy for foreign overseas workers.
These training workshops will be conducted by the staff of CARD MRI (Center for Agriculture and Rural Development Mutually Reinforcing Institutions). This is a non-profit organization that promotes savings, entrepreneurship and financial education among Filipino migrant workers.
The workshop will take place over two sessions on March 1st and March 29th from 1:30PM to 5:30PM in the Parish Hall at St. Anne’s. Participants who attend the full two-day seminar will receive a certificate upon completion of the training.
